You Don't Need to Change the World (Just Clean Up a Few Messes)
Free coaching calls + 5 ways ordinary people can elevate others’ lives
Before we dive in, I want to say…
Things are about to change around here.
This isn’t going to be the same newsletter you once knew.
In the near future, you’ll learn:
How to create 131 pieces of content every week
How to craft a writing system around your busy lifestyle
How I made my first $1,000 writing blog posts on Medium
So if you’ve stuck around this long…
Thank you.
Seriously. I’ve neglected this list for too long. But it’s time to level up.
As a gift for being an initial part of The Formula (previously known as “Part Time”) I’m offering Free Coaching to 5 people interested in writing more content in less time.
I’ve already had calls with some talented writers, and one of them left me this review…
Cheeky.
So if you want some new shower thoughts, fill out the questionnaire below, and tell me why you’d like to have a Free 30-minute chat.
Believe it or not, I used to be a tutor, then a teacher, and now I manage a team of four insanely talented creators for a company making $1 million every month.
On top of my 9-5, I write 2-4 articles a week, tweet on Twitter (X), and host free calls.
Plus, I work out almost daily, cook/clean for myself, and I still make time to do things I want, like playing video games, reading, and hanging out with friends.
I know a thing or two about getting sh!t done on a tight schedule.
So if you have a similar schedule and struggle to write your content consistently, fill out the form. If you’re selected, I’ll contact you to set up a free 30-minute call to answer your questions about writing.
Chances are 5 of you won’t even sign up…but we’ll see. And hey, if they go well, I’ll probably be down to host even more.
For now, sign up by tapping the button.
Now for today’s lesson…
99% of people will forget you after you die.
But if you make the world 1% better, you lived.
You don’t need to:
- Fix climate change
- Fix world hunger
- Save a whale
Your destiny is to clean up a few small messes.
Here are five tiny actions that make big impressions:
1. Buy someone a matcha latte
Harvard professor Michael I. Norton theorized if people spent their money differently than usual, they’d be happier.
A couple of dollars to you doesn’t mean as much as a surprising gift to somebody else.
(Side note: Matcha > Coffee 😅)
2. Donate your brain for free
Posting value-packed content will build you an audience.
But it also renews your sense of purpose.
When you feel like your life has a purpose, you don’t go through the motions of life.
You wake up ready to focus on yourself.
3. Clean up after others
When I played high school baseball, our coach told us to leave the dugouts cleaner than when we arrived.
It was a sign of good sportsmanship, no matter how the game went down.
But this isn't about trash.
How can you help pick up for somebody else?
4. Live by this “golden standard”
The less you produce, the less you get.
An office job won't fulfill you.
Sleeping around won't fulfill you.
Doing nothing won't either.
You get what you give.
Write online.
Connect with others.
Work toward your optimal future.
5. Do what you love and inspire others
Share. Your. Wins.
Twitter (X) is the best place to flex your wins (big and small) because it builds credibility.
What you’re doing is inspiring one way or another.
Somebody out there wishes they were you.
